Spiritual authority is when you and I have grown into maturity. There comes a point where the focus is no longer on ourselves, but on others. We begin to see people, but not only do we see people, we see the heart of God for people. We begin to understand why we're even in the kingdom of God. Why didn't God just save us and take us all home? Why did he leave us here? As the Father sent Jesus, Jesus now sends us.
Genuine Christianity finds its expression in living for the benefit of others. Maturity begins when life is no longer about what I can get from God, but how God can use my life to bring redemption, hope, and truth to those around me.
