Matthew 16:24. The Bible says that Jesus told his disciples, If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Now that's a wonderful verse to memorize, but it's a hard thing to walk with. When you begin to walk with God the way Christ has called us to walk, every cross comes with a Judas. When you go all in for God, there'll be a force of hell that comes against you to stop you. But in that place, you will discover something precious. You will find there the power to forgive. You'll find the heart of the one who said, Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they do.
