You Are The Light I

In Matthew 5:14, Jesus said, "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden."

A lighthouse is only a tourist attraction until the darkness comes. When natural light is gone, its light set in a high and visible place sends a beam of hope and guidance that can be seen for miles. It helps people navigate this life's seas to find a place of safety in God.

So it is with us that God has set us upon a hill with Him, a place where eternal safety is still offered to all trying to get through the troubled seas of this world. It is time for the light of Christ in us to shine again with clarity and compassion. Ask God that your heart might truly be a lighthouse.
