With the New Covenant Lens

In Psalms, chapter 15, verse one, the psalmist says, "Lord, who may abide in your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?" With the Old Covenant, people must've read this passage and possibly felt burdened to walk in perfection. However, with New Covenant lenses, we read this and have hope in what is possible through Jesus Christ.

Prior to the cross, there could be no assurance of abiding with God. The law carried a weight that one could scarcely carry. Yet now, we have an assurance that we can dwell with God forever as we've chosen to believe what He did for us. He comes not as a renter, but to completely govern our lives. He makes the renovations. He fills us with His glory. We walk uprightly as we walk in the finished work of Jesus Christ and as He lives in us by His Spirit.

It's time to pray.
