When I Fall, I Will Arise
Micah, chapter seven, verses seven and eight: “Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.”
Sometimes it’s so hard when we had hoped for a future victory only to find ourselves falling and failing again and again. We feel the taunting voices of evil rejoicing over our inability to live in sustained victory.
If this is you today remember this one thing: the strength of God is most clearly made known in the areas and times of our greatest weakness. We too have the right to say, “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall I will arise, when I sit in darkness the Lord will be a light to me.”
Oh, it’s time to pray!
