I want to remind you today that, as Christians, we have power against darkness. You and I are not victims in the church of Jesus Christ; that is, of course, unless we choose to be. When we open our hearts to the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit takes up residence inside of us, we are no longer victims.
We are victorious because of the victory Christ won for us on the cross over 2000 years ago. The Lord Himself gives us power. We have power in our confidence in the victory of Christ to stand against the weapons of darkness; cast them down. We have the ability to win secret battles.
I challenge you, wherever you are, whatever you’re going through, whether it’s depression, or addiction, or discouragement, whatever your struggle, whatever your trial, I want you today to remember you and me are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. We have the victory of Christ.
It’s time to pray.
