We Are Built on the Rock

Today, we need to recognize that we are the temple of God, that God has chosen to dwell on the earth in us and express His glory through us. You and I are part of a temple that will not be overcome by the storms of life.

We’re built on the rock, which is Christ Jesus. We’re not built on the sand. We are built on the truth of God’s Word, and we’re built on the faithfulness of God through past generations. Jesus Christ said that He is building His church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.

You need to know today that no one will triumph over you. This is a great promise of God. As frail as you may think you are, as flawed as you think your life is, when you put yourself on His foundation, the foundation of trusting in God, you will not be overcome. God is always faithful. Trust Him.
