We've Come to a Time

We've come to a time in the church where we're no longer standing up as role models, as powerful examples of people with scars who've been tried in the fire. We're starting to look more like people who can quote statistics and information. We've forgotten the true example set by our forefathers who conquered the lion and the bear, and who could face down fears and their own inward doubts. It appears in some circles, we're surrendering our training to celebrities and people in today's headlines.

O God, may we return to the true faith and exalt the One who deserves to be exalted. Jesus is the living Word. He will make a way for us to follow His example so that we can truly make a difference in this hour.
