We're Soon Going to Need Courage

The book of Acts, chapter 5, beginning at verse 27: "And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, saying, 'Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood on us!' But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: 'We ought to obey God rather than men.'"\n\nIt seems incredible that in this country we may soon have to make a choice. Throughout history, those who have decided for God have been given the courage to face the threats. Ultimately, they have pushed back darkness and brought light back into their society.\n\nSoon, you and I are going to need this courage. I promise you one thing, if we will turn to prayer, God will give us strength. He will never fail us; He will never forsake us.\n\nIt's time to pray.
