Truth Will Triumph

Let me share with you today some of the words of Psalm 46. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;...Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"

For so many of us today, the social upheavals that we are experiencing make it seem like the very earth is moving from under our feet. Values that we have held dear and institutions upon which we have found our security are literally being thrown into the sea. In the midst of all of this, God tells us to remain calm. The earth still belongs to Him. He is coming back soon, and ultimately truth is going to triumph. The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.
