This is My Word to You Today

Joshua, chapter 13, and verse 1: "When Joshua was an old man, the Lord said to him, 'You are growing old, and much land remains to be conquered.'" In other words, God was saying, "Joshua, you're advanced in years and you've served Me well. You've taken the people out of the wilderness, and you brought them through challenges. They've seen many miracles and My power. You've led them honorably. Now your season of leading in this capacity has come to an end."

Now, this doesn't mean we've come to an end with God. It means that God is going to glorify His name differently and more profoundly. This is my word to you today. There is much that yet remains to be claimed. You and I are called to be lights that shine in the darkness. Just because you might be advanced in age does not mean that God is finished with you. He still needs you. As a matter of fact, you might be one of His brighter lights in this generation.
