They Will Not Laugh For Long
2 Corinthians 10:4-5: “”For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.””
On July 4th, 1776, the Congress of the newly formed United States formally voted for independence. They were essentially casting their ballots for the freedom of worship and freedom from repressive, controlling human government.
Today, we must ask ourselves if we’re willing to stand for what many of them died to give us. Today, we have the weapon of prayer—a force much more powerful than we could ever realize. Though the godless will mock what they see as a weakness, they will not laugh for long. No, sir, they will not last for long.
It’s time to pray.
