The Tesimony of the Victorious

Psalm 89:1–2 says, “I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever, with my mouth will I make known your faithfulness to all generations. For, I have said, mercy shall be built up forever, your faithfulness you shall establish in the very heavens.”

It’s so true that God’s Kingdom is a Kingdom of mercy. It’s also true that God opposes the proud who think that they can achieve His purpose for their lives through human effort and natural virtue. He does, however, give grace to those who know that only through Him can we find mercy and strength to finish our journey.

The testimony of the victorious is indeed a song, a lifelong song of His mercy. Think about this today: when the glory came to Solomon’s temple, they were singing this song, “God is good, and His mercy endures forever.”
