The Strength of Good Friends

These words are found in the Book of Ecclesiastes, chapter four, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken."

It's so important that you don't try to get through the battles of today and tomorrow alone. Ask God to give you a friend or friends of faith, people who love and believe the words of God. There's such comfort in Godly friendship. Remember the words of God Himself when He looked at Adam in the Garden of Eden and said, "It is not good that man should be alone." Take time today to ask God for a friend.

It's time to pray.
