The Storm In America

Acts chapter 27, beginning at verse 20, says: “Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up. But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them.”

The moment finally came when all on this ship realized that human effort couldn't save them. Having ignored the words God had sent to them, they had chosen, as others before them, to follow their reasonings on their journey.

In America today, we're facing the storm of incivility and moral bankruptcy. Our society is in crisis and rapidly disintegrating. At this point in our opening text, the people's ears opened again to the Word of God. Pray for America's ears and hearts to open to God again soon.

It's time to pray.
