The Power of Comfort

In 2 Corinthians 7:5–6, Paul says, "For indeed, when we came to Macedonia, our bodies had no rest, but we were troubled on every side. Outside were conflicts, inside were fears. Nevertheless, God who comforts the downcast comforted us by the coming of Titus."

Proverbs 25:25 says, "As cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a far country."

Have you ever been encouraged by someone when you didn't expect it? A kind gesture, encouraging word, or even a smile can bring sunshine back into somebody's cloudy day. Ask Jesus to make you the Titus in someone's life today. You have the power to comfort somebody who desperately needs it.

It's time to pray.
