The Joyful Sound

Psalm 89, beginning at verse 15: “Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound, they walk our Lord in the light of your countenance. In your name, they rejoice all day long, and in your righteousness, they are exalted, for you are the glory of their strength.”

Blessed are the people who know the sound of forgiveness, the call of gladness, and worship. Most importantly, the sound of God’s voice in Christ, calling us daily to Himself.

“My sheep know my voice,” Jesus said. Daily, our promise is to be fed with the strength of God. Stop pushing away His love and just receive it. Jesus loves you. His promise to you is a clear vision of a rejoicing heart and divine strength. Don’t make this difficult. Open your heart to a new sound.
