The Heavens Are Speaking

Psalm 19, beginning at verse 1: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.”

It is true that the heavens declare the glory of God. In Psalm 8, King David, while studying the majesty of God’s works in the sky, wondered out loud, why He who held such power would be so concerned about humankind in our frail and our fallen condition.

It should all lead to one conclusion. If God is that powerful and if His heart is set upon us, then isn’t that power available also to help us on our journey? This one thought should permeate our entire prayer life. Think out loud of the potential when it does.
