The Earth Is Supposed to be Blessed Through Us

Genesis, chapter 12, verse three, says, "I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

The earth is supposed to be blessed through us, and we must pray that none of us come short of that purpose. Now, we often hear this preached with a futuristic tense, as if it's only about heaven. But we must remember that Jesus said the kingdom of God is now within us.

He wants to bless us now, and to make us a blessing to those around us. You and I are to be a light and to be salt to those who are earnestly seeking God, the truth and the life. May you and I share what we found. Every Tuesday night, 7:00 PM Eastern Time at tsc.nyc, we meet with people from 207 countries to pray. We ask God for courage to share our faith and to make us a blessing for others.
