The Abundance of the Heart

Luke 6:45: “”A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.””

If you and I allow God to write His law on our hearts, our mouths will start to agree with the ways of God. We’ll start to speak about ourselves the very same thing that God says about us. You will stop saying that you’re an addict, and you’ll start declaring yourself to be an evangelist.

That’s how God sees you and what He’s called you to be. You’ll start to realize that you’re not destined to live your life in captivity. Not only are you going to be free, but you’re going to take hundreds of people with you into freedom. You’ll start speaking about what God is about in your life, and you’ll do it only when you allow Him to write His law on your heart.
