Thank God For His Ways!

1 John 3:19–20: “And by this, we know that we are of the truth and shall assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things.”

In other words, God is greater than the condemnation in our hearts. When we come to Christ, we are clean. God no longer takes account of the struggles in our mind or the areas in which we have failed—not even the hardships we’re enduring. He looks at us and says He cannot curse us but only bless us.

God has forgiven us. We are made righteous not because of how often we go to church or read our Bibles. We are made righteous by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We're not forgiven because of anything we have done. We are righteous because of His mercy and His mercy alone. Oh, thank God for His ways. Talk to Him about it.
