Taken Out of the Way

Psalm 119, verse 11: “I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you” (NIV).

You and I have to make a transition from reading and memorizing the Bible to embracing it. When we don't esteem the Word of God, when we don't let the Word of God govern our thinking and our lives, we are literally taken out of the way. We become a religious noise in an ever-degenerating society. We become a powerless soldier trying to stop an army with a cardboard sword in our hand. We would have no power, no anointing, no authority and nothing in us, because we've chosen not to yield to the thoughts of God.

You and I need to make the Word of God our value system. We need to stay in the Word of God, trusting that God's promises will become the source of our life, the source of our strength and our future.

Remember, it's time to pray.
