Sudden Storms

Matthew 24, beginning at verse 37, says, "But as the days of Noah were, so will also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of man be."

As we have recently seen in America, storms can come suddenly with a ferocity that most never expected. What incredible fears were in Noah's day? It must have gripped the people's hearts as the waters rose, and the reality that there was no escape started to set in.

Jesus said that the last days would be like this. On Noah's day, some people were ready. They obeyed God's word and were ushered into safety, which He has always promised to those who trust Him.

It's time to pray.
