Six Dollars and a Prayer

The Gospel of Luke chapter 21, tells us that one day, Jesus saw a woman in the temple giving an offering of all that she had. Though we don't know her whole story, we do know that she was in need, and most likely desperate. We also know that Jesus saw her and did speak very well of her.

Last week here at Times Square Church, someone visited and left six dollars in an envelope with a prayer request. Here's what she said, "I'm alone, pregnant, and don't know what to do. I have an appointment tomorrow at an abortion clinic. Please pray for God to help me and my baby. Please pray."

We did pray, and we are still praying. Jesus looks upon her with eyes of love, just like He did this woman in Luke, chapter 21. We want to see her with those same eyes too. We would love to help her.

Remember, it's time to pray.
