Pray with Thanksgiving
I encourage you, as the Apostle Paul once did, to pray with thanksgiving this Thanksgiving. Philippians, chapter four, beginning at verse six, says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
There's no other way to pray with thanksgiving than to know the heart of God and begin to understand that it's in His heart to give you the things that you ask for, so that you and I can become the people that God calls us to be in our generation.
We're called to be lights in the darkness. We're called to be healing in a very wounded and broken time. We're called to be signposts for the people who really don't know where they're going in this time. This Thanksgiving, pray with thanksgiving because God is going to answer you.
It's time to pray.
