Pray for Courage

Proverbs, chapter 10, verse 5: “He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.”

There is little doubt that the harvest of precious lives that Christ died to save has reached full maturity. By that I mean that by sheer numbers and in the condition in which humankind now finds itself, many people’s hearts are now open to hear about the love, the redemption, and the divine purpose of God for their lives.

Rarely, if ever before, have we seen such an epidemic of hopelessness, depression, and addiction in this country. What a shame it would be if we, the people of God, failed to rise up for this moment—if we choose to remain silent when ears all around us are now open to the truth.

Pray for renewed courage; pray for renewed purpose in your life. It’s time to pray!
