Praising God With An Honest Heart

Psalm 119, beginning at verse five, says, "O that my ways were directed to keep your statutes. Then I would not be ashamed when I look into all your commandments. I will praise you with uprightness of heart when I learn your righteous judgments."

The cry of a righteous heart goes something like this: "O God, help me to learn and to love your Word and to love your ways. Turn my heart to obey you. I know that your ways will lead meto victory and that in them, my enemies will not be allowed to triumph over me.When I come into your house, O God, and among your people, let me be able to praise you with an honest heart. I want it to open Heaven. I want to know who you are. I want to know your victory again."

Let that be your prayer. Let it be your cry.
