Navigating the Hard Places

2 Peter, chapter 3, verse 16: "As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist for their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures."

Some things in Scripture bring us to places where difficult decisions have to be made. Some of them go against the grain of our own desires and how we think that our lives should unfold. Sadly, there are many people who, rather than yielding to God's Word, modify its meaning in their minds, thinking that it will guarantee them a successful journey. My brother, my sister, it won't. The Bible says that the twisting of Scripture leads to destruction. It's time for you and I to obey the word of God.
