My Personal Viewpoint

2 Thessalonians 2:7–8: "For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming."

My personal viewpoint of this verse is that the restrainer is the presence of the Holy Spirit of God within His church on the earth. We are the ones God uses to hold back this darkness that would swallow up and destroy our entire society. We are the only ones who have the power to stand against this lawlessness.

The Bible tells us that when we pray, we can command mountains to be cast into the sea and they will obey us. There are incredible promises that God gives us when we pray. My brother, my sister, above everything you do today, remember it's time to pray.
