Miracles in Dead Places

John 11:4: "When Jesus heard that, He said, 'This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.'"

It seems to me that the greatest miracles of God seemed to occur in places where death has accomplished all that it's capable of doing. I'm talking about places, just like the cross, where there's no longer any natural hope. It's a place where all seems lost. Tomorrow's dreams, yesterday's happiness, today's security, all seemingly swallowed up in sorrow.

Right now, why not let Jesus speak to you and bring life and light into your heart again? After all, our gospel is about the dead living, is it not? Let Him touch you, let Him speak to your heart, let him bring you back to life.

It's time to pray.
