Let This Mind Be in You

Philippians 2:6-7 says, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant and coming in the likeness of men."

Jesus is equal to God. No one can get higher than that, but being equal to God, He left Heaven where He had all power, and He came to earth and clothed Himself in frail humanity. He took the form of a bondservant. In other words, God, Himself, became a servant.

We want to be led by the Spirit, but are we willing to be made of no reputation? Jesus, Himself said, "The greatest among you will be the servant of all." So the question arises, are we willing to become servants and allow God to glorify Himself again through us?

It’s time to pray.
