Keep Burning Brightly
The gospel of Matthew, chapter 25, verses six to eight: "And at midnight, a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!' Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'"
These words from Jesus speak potentially of our day. As the days around us grow increasingly dark and this fallen world mounts its final rebellion against its Creator, it's imperative that you and I have the inner strength that is promised to keep us burning brightly in this needy hour.
Take time now to pray. Dig deep into the word of God. Don't rely on others to do the work for you. As Jesus taught, you need to get your own supply. My brother, my sister, you need to get it now.
It's time to pray.
