It's Time for an Upper Room Experience

In the book of Acts, when threats were made against the early church, the followers of Jesus gathered and prayed. They asked the Lord to consider the threats and grant them boldness so that they could speak the word of God by God, stretching out His hand and healing. They asked for signs and wonders to be done in the name of Jesus Christ.

The scripture tells us that when they'd finished praying, the place where they were gathered began to shake, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. They began to speak the word of God with boldness. Now, it doesn't mean arrogance or being argumentative. It simply means confidence. They preach the word of God with confidence by simply saying, "Jesus can set you free." That's speaking with boldness.

It's time for you and me to have an upper room experience again and allow the Holy Spirit to manifest Himself in our lives for His glory.

It's time again to pray.
