If

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Today, we search for answers to the violence in our schools, the addictions in our towns, and the eroding of our homes and values. I suggest to you that the solution is already in our hands.

As the people of God, if we fold our hands in the petition, raise them, and surrender to God's will, our nation's future can be changed. It's that simple. It's time to put down the pencils of human strategy. It's time to stop pointing the finger of blame. It's time to stop clasping our hands in anguish and beating our chests in despair.

It's time to pray.
