Psalm 106, beginning at verse 41: “And He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, and those who hated them ruled over them. Their enemies also oppressed them and they were brought into subjection under their hand. Many times He delivered them; but they rebelled in their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. Nevertheless, He regarded their affliction when He heard their cry.”
History reveals that the people of God are prone to repeating the same mistakes. We neglect to embrace and walk in the truth of God, and when we do so, we are diminished in strength and ultimately end up oppressed.
However, history also shows us something else as well: when we cry out that His power and mercy be revealed once again, God always answers His people.
My brother, my sister, remember, it’s time to pray.
