His Victory and Promises
In John, chapter 16, verse 33, Jesus spoke these words: "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Jesus never hid from us the fact that while we're in this world, trouble will be our frequent companion. The wonderful truth, though, is that He has both conquered and sits above all that every day brings us to try to convince us that we will not finish in victory.
He says that the fruit of His sustaining presence within us is a heart that is filled with peace and a countenance of good cheer. Pray today that His victory and His promises given to you will be greater than the trial that you are facing. He will never fail you. He will never forsake you.
Remember, it's time to pray.
