He Is The Only One That Can Keep Us

Psalm 118:8–9 says, "It's better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes."

It's time that the church stops putting trust in man, money, and what this world is offering and instead start trusting God. I do not have faith in the government, people, a bank account, or a house. I've lost two of them so far, one to mold and one to fire. I don't have faith in material things, but I have a lasting faith in God.

We must trust God because He is the only one who can keep us. He's the only one who can give us a reason to live and a purpose to live it by, and the power to be a living testimony of His goodness in His faithfulness among men.

It's time to pray.
