Have You Found the Reason

In Luke 4:18–19, Jesus was in the synagogue reading a passage which said, "The spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and recover sight to the blinds. To set at liberty those who are oppressed to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

This scripture defines the very reason why Jesus came. The Spirit of the Lord was upon Jesus for a specific reason and purpose that only God could fulfill. Have you found the reason why the Holy Spirit is upon you?

God has given you the Holy Spirit for a divine purpose. Ask the Holy Spirit to know your purpose and know that He will provide you with the power to fulfill His calling on your life. Ask Him.
