Give Me Eyes to See My Answer
Exodus, chapter four, verse 20: “Then Moses took his wife and his sons and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the rod of God in his hand.”
The people of God had been crying out in anguish. Their oppression was terrible. God answered with power, yet the answer looked so feeble and ordinary, I'm sure that many didn't recognize it. An old man, a staff, and a family on a donkey hardly looked like an answer to prayer, yet the answer it was, and it was a powerful one at that. My point today is quite simple. Your answer to your prayer might be right before you, and yet you don't have the eyes to see it. If you pray again today, I believe that you will see that your answer has come.
It's time to pray.
