Father’s Day 2021
I want to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. Today, I’m looking in the book of Nehemiah, chapter 3, in verse 12. It talks about this man whose name was Shallum, who started to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem under the leadership of Nehemiah, with his daughters working with him.
You see, this was a dad who brought his children into the work of God because he was engaged in the work of God. I want to challenge all the fathers that are listening today to become separated to the work of God, to let the passion for God’s Kingdom and God’s work begin to so grip your heart, that your children will find it delightful to come alongside you andbuild those things that might’ve been lost through neglect or unrepair.
You have incredible power. God’s given you the voice of a father. Let’s use those voices to inspire our children to build the Kingdom of God.
It’s time to pray.
