Don't Try to Get Out of It

Philippians, chapter one, verses 12 to 14: "But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ; and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear."

What looked to be a bad situation in Paul's imprisonment actually furthered the cause of Christ in an important place, Caesar's palace. Don't be surprised where God may choose to position your light in this darkening hour of history. Don't try to get out of it. Ask God to help you flourish exactly where you are. God's Word can't be bound, nor can His Spirit be hidden. Wherever God has placed you today, in that place, let it fulfill God's purpose.
