Come Now, All Things are Ready
Luke chapter 14, verses 16 and 17 say, "Then He said to him, 'A certain man gave a great supper and invited many, and sent His servant at supper time to say to those who were invited , 'Come, for all things are now ready.'"
You and I are invited to a great feast, not just in Heaven, but also on this side of eternity. It's a feast of strength, a feast of renewed life and vision, of passion and power to perform everything that He created us for. Many are invited to over-spill our own borders and become what we could never, ever, be in our own strength. We're invited to a love for God and for others that casts all fear out of our lives.
"Come now," He says, "all things are ready." The promises of God are not just for some distant future. This newness of life is ours if we accept His invitation to come.
It's time to pray.
