By Prayer and Fasting

The Gospel of Mark, chapter nine, beginning at verse 28, says, “And when he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, ‘Why could we not cast it out?’ So he said to them, ‘This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.’”

I wonder today how many of God's people still know how to fight spiritually. Having received a message that came to us through blood and sacrifice, many now think that passing it on from lounge chair to lounge chair will somehow suffice.

We cannot expel the demonic influences that threaten to swallow a whole generation of our children alone. The instructions of Jesus still hold for our time. We must partner with Him through prayer and fasting.

It's time to pray.
