Bone Breaking Speech!

Proverbs chapter 25 in verse 15, "By long forbearance, a ruler is persuaded and a gentle tongue breaks a bone."

There is such power in reasoned and gentle speech. This verse tells us that it can break down a place of false strength and false reasoning. In this age of inarguable argumentative speech where everyone wants to win by sheer volume, what a lovely contrast your voice could make in the room if the gentleness of God powers it.

Remember that somebody there will be listening, somebody who wants out of the swirl and wants to find peace inside. Your voice has the power to be their key to freedom. Try it today; make a concerted effort to speak gently.
