Being Powerless Brings no Glory to God

Today, I’d like to remind us that we are supposed to represent God on the earth as believers. We do so many things, but it seems that we’ve fallen short. My prayer is that you and I cease to be an argument, and we start to become a demonstration of God’s power to this generation.

Paul, the apostle, said that our faith should not stand in the wisdom or the arguments of man but in the power of God. Being powerless brings no glory to God. I’m praying today that God takes us from where we are to a place where only He can take us and give us only what His generosity can provide to accomplish what He’s called us to be on the earth.

People in this generation are confused. They’re looking once again, perhaps to you and I, the church, for answers. May we be able to say like John, the Baptist once did, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Let me show him to you.”

It’s time to pray.
