Asking For the Right Reasons
In James chapter four, part of verses two and three, says: “Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive because you ask amiss that you may spend it on your pleasures.”
I have found that God continually answers prayer. There's a time, however, where the infancy of asking only for ourselves must give way to the maturity of asking for the benefit of others. The giftings, the strength, and the resources we need should all be the cornerstone of our desire to see the work of God through us fulfilled on the earth.
I believe churches would be filled with the praises of marvelous supernatural answers if this became the last day of pursuing God's people. The incredible resources of God are still there for the asking.
It's time to pray.
