Allow the Lord to Comfort You

Now, the Word of God gives present comfort for the battles that we face today, and I thank God with all of my heart. Every passage of scripture in the Bible is for us, and it has the power to change our hearts. We can rest assured knowing that God promises to comfort our present and future battles.

In Isaiah chapter 33, in verse 20, the scripture says, "Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet home." In other words, look upon the promises of God.

As you begin to meditate in the Word of God and look upon His promises to you, you'll not only see the lines that you're reading before you, but you'll also begin to see something that is eternal. You'll find a secure place to live in the Word of God. Would you allow the Lord to comfort you in your battles today?

It’s time to pray.
