A Return to Prayer

First Chronicles, chapter 13, beginning at verse two: "And David said to all the assembly of Israel, 'If it seems good to you, and if it is of the Lord our God, let us send out to our brethren everywhere who are left in all the land of Israel, and with them to the priests and the Levites who are in their cities and their common-lands, that they may gather together to us; and let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we have not inquired at it since the days of Saul.'"

Once before in history, the nation of Israel was divided, like ours is today. The plan of God for the healing was simple. The moment required an abandonment of the prayerlessness which had caused the decline in the first place and a return to prayer. At this point in our national decline, your prayers and mine matter more than you and I will ever know.

My brother, my sister, it's time to pray.
