A Person After God's Heart
Psalm 143, beginning at verse seven. "Answer me speedily, O Lord, my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me, lest I be like those who go down into the pit. O cause me to hear your loving-kindness in the morning, for in you do I trust. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk before I lift up my soul to you."
We know that King David, as described in the Bible, was a man after God's heart. Throughout the struggles in his life, he always had the desire to turn from his ways and turn back to the ways of God. He saw the peril of those who deal casually with the divine promises that God had given them.
Though you might not feel good about some of your actions today, God, as with David, is willing to restore and protect you as soon as He hears your voice asking Him for help. So be a person after God's heart.
Remember, my brother, my sister, it's time to pray.
