A Flood Warning

Genesis 6, beginning in verse 12: “So God looked upon the earth and indeed it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. And God said to Noah, ‘The end of all flesh has come before me. For the earth is filled with violence through them. And behold, I will destroy them with the earth. A flood warning has been issued today for an area that I will soon have to travel through. I believe it because meteorologists can see via satellite what I cannot. I will prepare, I will use caution and stay connected with those who see what lies ahead.’”

Sadly, some people just never listen. Though clearly warned, they ignore the voices of those who know what they do not. History records their final and pitiful unanswered cries.

In the coming days, may all that be heard of you is a voice of praise, humility, and trust in God.
